The song with the chorus "Your roses may have Thorns" was written
by Haldor Lillenas - the songwriter of many beautiful songs. The Lillenas
Song company in Kansas City, MO is named after him.

My Dad and Mom used to sing this song....I often find myself humming the chorus.
