I am trying to find a CD with this older hymn on it
It starts @I am weak but thou art strong' and the verse contains the words 'a closer walk with God

Doing the overheads for next Sunday and the Praise leader (he's gone fishing) gave me the first lines but no reference to numbers or books.

Thanks alot, this song is close to my heart.It also has been stuck in my head for the past month.I don't think i've ever heard it before, other than the chorus.But for some reason God has obvisly wanted me to sing it or he wouldn't have put it in my head. RIGHT?thank you again now i can sing the whole song.

Great Idea naming this site like this...
I was use to see Name that tune... in TV.
Thaks a lot for finding JUST A CLOSER WALK ... for me.
It is funny that i remember the melody, but not the words.
Now that i have my guitar i can sing along that inspiring son.
