The Last Time I Saw Mama

The last time I saw mama, she could hardly get around. Her body was weak and feeble. Her strength had let her down. Her hands were old and callused and her hair was almost white. But, the next time I see mama; it'll be a different sight.

Chorus: On her head, she'll wear a golden crown. On her face, there'll never be a frown. And, her smile will wear the seal of God. Oh yes! She'll be walking on the ground where angels trod.

The last time I saw mama, age had hit her hard. Her body was old and feeble; time had left its scars. Her nights were long and restless, and often filled with pain. But, the next time I see mama; it'll be a different thing.

Chorus

Hi moG

The Last Time I Saw Mama is on The Principles album, Crowning Of The King
Their website http://theprinciples.net/home offers their CD so you can hear it.
I am sure they would appreciate your support

The lyrics were posted in this thread (above) but here they are again:

The last time I saw mama, she could hardly get around.
Her body was weak and feeble. Her strength had let her down.
Her hands were old and callused and her hair was almost white.
But, the next time I see mama; it'll be a different sight.

Chorus:
On her head, she'll wear a golden crown.

Chorus

Trust this helps,
simh

Verse 1:
The last time I saw mama, she could hardly get around
Her body was old and feeble, and her strength had let her down
Her hands were worn and calloused, and her hair was almost white
But the next time I see mama, it will be a different sight

Chorus:
On her head she’ll wear a golden crown
And on her face there’ll never be a frown
And her smile will bare the seal of God - oh yes
She’ll be walking on the ground where angels trod

Verse 2:
The last time I saw mama, age had whipped/hit her hard
Her face was filled with wrinkles, where time had left its mark
Her nights were long and restless, and so often filled with pain
But the next time I see mama, there will be a great big change

Chorus:
On her head she’ll wear a golden crown
And on her face there’ll never be a frown
And her smile will bare the seal of God - oh yes
She’ll be walking on the ground where angels trod (x2)
