I'm looking for a hymn that would include this chorus:

Almighty God, the everlasting Father
The Prince of Peace, throughout eternity
(repeat)

Possible title: Be Still my Soul

Thank you,

This is just a shot in the dark, but it's possible you might be thinking of the hymn "His Name, His Name".

Here are the lyrics:

His Name, His Name shall be called Wonderful,
His Name, His Name shall be called Counselor,
Almighty God, the Everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace throughout eternity.
Almighty God, the Everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace throughout eternity.
The Prince of Peace throughout eternity.

It's usually sung to Jean Sibelius's "Finlandia".

Is this the one you're looking for?

God bless!

At Truro (formerly Episcopal) Anglican Church, Fairfax VA, we frequently sang this beautiful reflection on the names of the Savior, taken from Isaiah. I will frequently open the Lord's Prayer with this refrain - when I come to "Hallowed be thy Name." The praise can be elevated when we sing it to the Lord, Your name, Your name, Your name is Wonderful.
