all I remember of the hymn is: for the darkness shall turn to dawning and the dawning to noon day bright and Christs' great kingdom shall come on earth a kingdom of love and light

That song is, or has been, published in several hymnals. Try the 1975 edition of the Southern Baptist hymnal.
