looking for the song take away the pain

Im not sure that that is the name of the song but the first few lines of the song go I've been traveling down this lonely for many year ive been carrying my load been working and tolling in the heat of the day something inside said keep pressing on it wont be long till the new day is dawn and that all i remember i would love to find this song it was a part of my childhood growing up.
