Here are the lyrics as best as I remember them. I have it at church. Who have you heard sing it? I have been looking for years for who the female is that recorded it prior to 2000. Would love to know who she is. hope this helps.

Ok, verse one is correct. the missing part in verse 2 is ...the reason that we've stood the test and through the mountains soared...

I know john starnes sang it but there is also a recording I have heard of a female saprano. sounds like it could be nicole watts jenkins or Amy Lambert or someone like that but I can't find out from them if they recorded it. Can't find how to get hold of Nicole Watts jenkins and I really think it was her. She sang with the Perry's for a while and others but can't find a correct email for her and I don't do face book.
any suggestions?
