Hymn Lyrics Search - Name That Hymn

The skit was called Breakfast in Galilee.

Thanks so much! I was looking for it in my music binders and couldn't remember the title. I want to play it for a prayer group for Lent. If you need chords, they are:

I performed in this play a million years ago and still sing the songs to myself.

I too recall that song and loved singing it.Our youth group had a small red songbook that it was in...That song was a favorite to sing when I was in my teens...along with Pass It On..also in that booklet

It was called "In The Upper Room"

The title of the song is Communion Song, written by Sonny Salsbury. I have the piano music book "Sing and Celebrate" that was published in 1971.

The song in question is titled "In the Upper Room". The lyrics I learned vary slightly.
In the upper room 12 men are sitting 'round the Lord.
As he calls to break the bread they hear him say,
"This is my body which is broken fo you,
And for you I've known the pain.
This cup you drink recalls my blood that is shed.
Please don't let it be in vain... in vain. (last time only)
