I believe you're referring to "I Want To Hear Your Welcome".

It was in our hymnal at church. I can't recall all the words, but here's the chorus.

I want to hear you welcome me and with you spend eternity
I want to be among the number that day
With lamps all trimmed and burning bright
With robes so pure and spotless white
