This seems to maybe be a chorus. I found the following.

I remember the first verse as:
From Bethlehem's manger, came forth a stranger,
on Earth I long, to be like him.
Serene and holy, obedient lowly,
on Earth I long (oh I long), to be like him.
I always loved that one!

its the one the guest put on here From bethelams manger ame forth a stranger thats the first verse and the cho is to be like jesus to be like jesus all i askes to be like him all thro lifes journey from earth to glory all i ask to be like him now i need to know the 2nd verse because that is not it my Gloria gaither please help
