I am not a religious person but heard this Hymm at a funeral and I love it.
I love nature and birds and this touched me so. I have been searching for the words. I have listen to a version by "Daniel Rodriquez" (the N.Y. fireman from 9/11....) it made me weep it was sooo beautifull. I am so glad to have found the words

i'm so thankful for what i've seen i just hear the song but doesn't know the lyrics right now i know the song and the lyrics and i can sing it with Michael Joncas and the katinas. Tanks very much.

On Eagle's Wings was always my favorite hymn to be sung at church. I always went with my dad and so this was "our song." One time he bought a John Michael Talbot cd with the song on it and I cherished it for years. My dad has been gone for about a year and a half now and I'm doing a memorial to him with the lyrics to the song. I love the hymn, it is so beautiful.
