Please, could you help me locate an old hymn. It has four lines and about 4 to 5 verses. Every fourth line (the last line) of each verse has this as its refrain: It is I, be not afraid. Thank you

I don't know if this is the song you're looking for or not but this is what I have. Although it only has three verses I pray that it helps.
God Bless.

It Is I Be Not Afraid

Verse: 1
There was a ship once going gently down a stream that my savior made,
all of his disciples were in it since, together this time they stayed,
but the captain was not in it, he was walking on the water that he made,
the disciples became a frightened, but he said it is I be not afraid.

Chorus:
Oh it is I, be not afraid, this is the reply, that the savior made,
when the night was dark and the winds were blowing still in
the ship the disciples did stay, they saw a man walking on
the water saying it is I be not afraid.

Verse: 2
Aren't you glad to claim a Savior that can calm the wind and sea,
well this is the same dear Jesus, that said come unto me,
so let's hold to the ship of salvation, from walking with sin satan made,
Jesus is still calling gently, it is I be not afraid.

Verse: 3
This is the same God that spoke to brother Noah,
build thy self and ark thy son, going to destroy this earth with water,
see what all these people have done, Noah began to work and he
did not fear the people, got in the ark that he had made, the rain
began to fall and the boat began to float, said it is I be not afraid.

Could this be the one the Guest of 15th Feb is looking for?

Verse 1
Toss'd with rough winds and faint with fear,
Above the tempest soft and clear,
What still small accents greet mine ear?
'Tis I; be not afraid,
'Tis I; be not afraid.

Verse 2
'Tis I, who led thy steps aright;
'Tis I, who gave thy blind eyes sight;
'Tis I, thy Lord, thy Life, thy Light,
'Tis I; be not afraid,
'Tis I; be not afraid.

Verse 3
These raging winds, this surging sea,
Bear not a breath of wrath to thee;
That storm has all been spent on me,
'Tis I; be not afraid,
'Tis I; be not afraid.

Verse 4
When on the other side, thy feet
Shall rest 'mid thousand welcomes sweet,
One well-known voice thy heart shall greet,
'Tis I; be not afraid,
'Tis I; be not afraid.

Verse 1
Toss'd with rough winds, and faint with fear,
Above the tempest, soft and clear,
What still small accents greet mine ear? ---
'Tis I; be not afraid.

Verse 2
'Tis I, who washed thy spirit white;
'Tis I, who gave thy blind eyes sight;
'Tis I, thy Lord, thy life, thy light:
'Tis I; be not afraid

Verse 3
These raging winds, this surging sea,
Have spent their deadly force on Me:
They bear no breath of wrath to thee:
'Tis I; be not afraid.

Verse 4
This bitter cup, I drank it first;
To thee it is no draught accurst;
The hand that gives it thee is pierced:
'Tis I; be not afraid.

Verse 5
Mine eyes are watching by thy bed,
Mine arms are underneath thy head,
My blessing is around thee shed:
'Tis I, be not afraid.

Verse 6
When on the other side thy feet
Shall rest mid thousand welcomes sweet,
One well-known Voice thy heart shall greet,
'Tis I; be not afraid.
