In Loving Memory of Dorothy Mae Jones Gillis of Sturgis, Ms. born unto this earth Feb. 15, 1906 passed on to Beulah Land June 24, 2008. She received what she wanted in life, to not have to bury any of her eleven children and to not be a burden on her family. She never was, as she lived by herself until the end and never would have been, what ever the Lord may have allowed.
Three of her Great Grand Children sang this song in her celebration of life service. You know, I have heard this saying so many times, and I have been to a lot of funerals, but, this was the first true celebration of life I've ever been to. Praise God and sweet Jesus - watch that Glory Train roll!
God Bless you Maw-Maw, I'll see you when I get to Beulah Land.

Here it is 2008 and because of this posting, I finally have at least the words for Dwelling in Beulah Land by C. Austin Miles. I can now search for a CD with this old hymn on it. I remember it from the Dutch Reformed church I grew up in in NJ.

Thank you! Carol in Alaska

Yes, I like this one, too. I think it was first published in 1911.

DWELLING IN BEULAH LAND (1911)
W & M By C Austin Miles

1. Far away the noise of strife upon my ear is falling;
Then I know the sins of earth beset on every hand:
Doubt and fear and things of earth in vain to me are calling
None of these shall remove me from Beulah Land.

CHORUS:
I'm living on the mountain, underneath a cloudless sky;(praise God)
I'm drinking at the fountain that never shall run dry;
Oh yes! I'm feasting on the manna from a bountiful supply,
For I am dwelling in Beulah Land.

2. Viewing here the works of God, I sink in contemplation;
Hearing now His blessed voice, I see the way He planned:
Dwelling in the Spirit here I learn of full salvation;
Gladly will I tarry in Beulah Land.

3. Let the stormy breezes blow, their cry cannot alarm me;
I am safely sheltered here, protected by God's hand.
Here the sun is always shining, here there's naught can harm me.
I am safe forever in Beulah Land.

4. Viewing here the works of God, I sink in contemplation.
Hearing now His blessèd voice, I see the way He planned.
Dwelling in the Spirit here I learn of full salvation.
Gladly I will tarry in Beulah Land.

I have a South African gospel CD from the group "Joyous Celebration" and this is their version. It's beautiful, just beautiful.

There is a land so sweet and free,
And all the joy will soon be mine,
There is a shining light so bright,
There is no dying over there.

Refrain:
O Beulah Land! Sweet Beulah Land!
Upon thy heights I long to stand,
And view the radiant jasper sea,
And mansions fair, prepared for me,
And find on that eternal shore
My heaven my home, forever more.

I love this song.
Sweet Beulah Land

I'm kind of homesick for a country,
To which I've never been before.
No sad good-byes, will there be spoken,
For time won't matter, anymore.

Beulah Land, I'm longing for you,
And some day, on thee I'll stand.
There my home shall be eternal,
Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land.

I'm looking now across the river
Where my faith will end in sight.
There's just a few more days to labor,
Then I will take my heavenly flight.

Beulah Land, I'm longing for you,
And some day, on thee I'll stand.
There my home shall be eternal,
Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land.

There my home shall be eternal,
Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land.
Beulah Land, Beulah Land,
Beulah Land, Sweet Beulah Land.

Isaiah 62:4 You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, Nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For the LORD delights in you, And your land shall be married.
Dwelling In Beulah Land

Far away the noise of strife upon my ear is falling.
Then I know the sins of earth beset on every hand.
Doubt and fear and things of earth in vain to me are calling.
None of these shall move me from Beulah Land.

I'm living on the mountain, underneath a cloudless sky.
I'm drinking at the fountain that never shall run dry.
O yes! I'm feasting on the manna from a bountiful supply,
For I am dwelling in Beulah Land.

Far below the storm of doubt upon the world is beating.
Sons of men in battle long the enemy withstand.
Safe am I within the castle of God's Word retreating.
Nothing then can reach me-'tis Beulah Land.

I'm living on the mountain, underneath a cloudless sky.
I'm drinking at the fountain that never shall run dry.
O yes! I'm feasting on the manna from a bountiful supply,
For I am dwelling in Beulah Land.

Let the stormy breezes blow, their cry cannot alarm me;
I am safely sheltered here, protected by God's hand.
Here the sun is always shining, here there's naught can harm me.
I am safe forever in Beulah Land.

I'm living on the mountain, underneath a cloudless sky.
I'm drinking at the fountain that never shall run dry.
O yes! I'm feasting on the manna from a bountiful supply,
For I am dwelling in Beulah Land.

Viewing here the works of God, I sink in contemplation.
Hearing now His blessèd voice, I see the way He planned.
Dwelling in the Spirit here I learn of full salvation.
Gladly I will tarry in Beulah Land.

I'm living on the mountain, underneath a cloudless sky.
I'm drinking at the fountain that never shall run dry.
O yes! I'm feasting on the manna from a bountiful supply,
For I am dwelling in Beulah Land

These are just two of the many versions I have heard.

PS We will not need keys in heaven!!
