I was a song leader in a little church in New Mexico in 1958 and sang this song, and the music never left me, but I forgot most of the words. Thanks again

wow that is a great song. I heard it at my church about 15 years ago, then i fell into the world and got locked up went to jail. To my suprise i ended up where there was some christians. We would have a chance to have service every night in the showers after everyone had cleared out. They asked if anyone had any other songs to share and that song had never left me as well. So that became one of the songs we sang.It had always stuck in my head so i was able to share it. Hopefully they are still singing it. Praise GOD for that song. it's touching and comforting

try hymnal.net for the music. You get the first verse played very clearly. First heard this at a Billy Graham rally (?) or was it Youth for Christ (?) in Birmingham town hall - UK in mid 1950s. Never forgotten it. Barrie
