Need help with an old song...I'm in this church

The only words I remember are...

I'm in this church, this glorious church,
I didn't join, no, I was born,
I've had a new birth...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When Jesus came, he was left out.
There was no place that he was welcomed here on earth.
But he had a plan ______________ forever stand
He spoke these words "Upon this rock I'll build my church"

This is all I can remember of this one.

I remember this much:

When Jesus came, He was left out.
