looking for 80s/90s song

I have been through a lot of trouble looking for this song. I don't know the artist, song name and even the lyrics of the song! The song begins with rock music in the background and the singer is sining in a rap like style. Two verses afterwards; there is this singing done by a group of men and women singing all together. After the sing-rapping guy does two more verses, and the group of men and women sing again, there was something the men and women said,
"all hang on hang on hang on"
That was not the real lyrics; but that is the best I can remember. If you can find what this song is, please respond.
