I don't know if you are still looking for this song but I googled Sunrise+Tomorrow lyrics and found an old country music site that had the lyrics and chords. It was recorded by slim whitman. It is an old country gospel song. Might be the one you are looking for

Sunrise Tomorrow by slim Whitman

When I shall come to the end of my way
When I shall rest at the close of my fate
When welcome home I shall hear Jesus say
Oh, that will be sunrise for me

Sunrise tomorrow, Sunrise tomorrow
Sunrise in glory is waiting for me
Sunrise tomorrow, Sunrise tomorrow
Sunrise with Jesus for etern-i-ty

When life is over and daylight has passes
In Heavens harbor my anchor is cast
When I see Jesus my Savior at last
Oh, that will be sunrise for me

Repeat chorus (2nd paragraph)

Here is the version my mother sang in the 1940's and 1950's"

Charles Scott

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I shall come to the end of my way
Then I shall rest at the close of life's day
And " welcome home" I shall hear Jesus say
Oh, that will be sunrise for me

Sunrise tomorrow, Sunrise tomorrow
Sunrise in glory is waiting for me
Sunrise tomorrow, Sunrise tomorrow
Sunrise with Jesus for etern-t-ty

When life is over and daylight has past
And in Heavens harbor my anchor is cast
Then I'll see Jesus my Savior at last
Oh, that will be sunrise for me

My father sang this at my grandfather's funeral back in 1981. I was 9. I loved it then, and have been searching for this for the longest time. Still brings a tear to my eye. Thanks for posting!

I first heard this at my Uncle's funeral back in 1981. It was also sung at my grandmother's funeral back in 1962. I cry every time I hear it. I can play it by ear.
