looking for a song for very ill friend - Joy comes in the morning

The song I am looking for is an old hymn
Part of it has "Joy comes in the morning". Have been scouring old song books but have not come up with the song as of yet.
thaks for your help, friend is very ill and requested me to find the song if possible. do not know name of any more that goes with it

There is a song by Bill Gaither titled Joy In the Morning.
The chorus goes something like this:

Hold on my child, joy comes in the morning
Weeping only last for the night.
Hold on my child,Joy comes in the morning
the darkest hour means dawn is just in sight.

could this possibly be the song you are searching for?
