Is there anyone on this website, to help other people with the lyrics ?

This is where you can post a request for a hymn search (to post a new request, simply click on the words "Hymn Lyrics Search Requests" and scroll down until you see "Post a New Topic").

Howdy, I do believe this website is blessed by God, He does use songs and music to help us through our problems

Just wondering, Is there anyone on this website, to help other people with the lyrics of the songs, they need ? I just noticed there is lots of people who has requested lyrics and no one has gave yet, give them the words of the songs.

If anyone can tell me how to transcribe audio to text, maybe I can help,hopefully . I do believe there must be a transcribing software .

I love this website, because there is lot of uplifting songs. And they help people to get encouraged.

God Bless You All.

Easiest way to transcribe a song is to listen to it; pausing as often as you need to and write down the words.

There may be a need to back up and listen to the lines a couple times to understand what is being sung.

Sometimes, what is sung is never understood. Just post lyrics here with guesses? for not understood words.

People will listen & make their own guess based on context of the song.

There a quite of few who visit this website just to help other people with the lyrics.

Just count the requests that have been filled as opposed to the ones that haven't.

There are just some vague descriptions or some requests are for rare songs.

Guest, I hope this is the correct one. I went to that redmp3 website, It wouldn't play for me.

"In Shady Green Pastures",

In shady green pastures
so rich and so sweet
God leads His dear children along.

Where the water's cold flow
bathe's the weary one's feet
God leads His dear children along.

Some thru the waters
some thru the flood
some thru the fire
but all thru the Blood.

Some thru great sorrow
but God gives a song
in the night season
and all the day long.

Some thru the waters
some thru the flood
some thru the fire
but all thru the Blood.

Some thru great sorrow
but God gives a song
in the night season
and all the day long.

I know this one as:

GOD LEADS US ALONG (1903)
Words & Music: George A Young Key: Eb 6/8

1. In shady green pastures, so rich and so sweet,
God leads His dear children along;
Where the water's cool flow bathes the weary one's feet,
God leads His dear children along.

CHORUS:
Some through the waters, some through the flood,
Some through the fire, but all through the blood;
Some through great sorrow, but God gives a song;
In the night season and all the day long.

2. Sometimes on the mount where the sun shines so bright,
God leads His dear children along;
Sometimes in the valley in the darkest of night,
God leads His dear children along.

3. Though sorrows befall us, and Satan oppose,
God leads His dear children along;
Through grace we can conquer, defeat all our foes,
God leads His dear children along.

4. Away from the mire, and away from the clay,
God leads His dear children along;
Away up in glory, eternity's day.
God leads His dear children along.

Hi Guest, you keep posting this comment and I would like to let you know that there are people on here, including me, that will take our time to look up requested songs and post them.

Sometimes the "clue" is vague so we wind up spending a lot of time trying to find it. Sometimes we find them, other times we don't. But please know that we are trying to help people find their songs. As we would want someone to help us with our searches.

Sometimes we have looked for a while and when we find it, say on youtube, it is easier for us to just post a link to where the person can go and listen to the song and get the words themselves. (which is what we would have to do).

So please know that we are looking to help. I know I have posted a lot of things for others and others have posted for me!
Thank you

God Leads Us Along
Key: A

Chorus:
[A]Some through the waters, [D]some through the [A]flood
[A]Some through the [F#m]fire, but [B7]all through the [E7]blood
[A]Some through great sorrow, but [D]God gives a [A]song
[A]In the night [F#m]season and [Bm]all the [E7]day [A]long

Hope this helps. The major 2 is correct. Didn’t want someone to think it was a typo :D
