Hey everyone, I’m looking for a good music app that allows offline playback without requiring a subscription. I usually listen to a mix of genres, so something with a big library and decent audio quality would be great.
I’ve tried Spotify and YouTube Music, but the free versions don’t allow downloads. Are there any apps you recommend that offer free offline listening?
Also, I came across a few sites offering apk download free versions of premium music apps. Has anyone tried them? Are they safe, or should I stick with official sources?
Would love to hear your suggestions!

It's not "free", but I use my Amazon Prime subscription a lot for offline downloads. They only give you a limited number of choices before they try to upsell you to their premium product, but more often than not I find a decent selection, especially if you're looking for hymns.
There's another option that everyone forgets about: buying the physical CDs (if anyone remembers what they are!). If you have a copy of the CD you can download it to your computer (if you can still find a CD drive) and it's yours forever. If you want to try one out before you buy it, many local libraries still have extensive collections of CDs (technically you can rip the CD for free, but it's always good to make sure the copyright owner gets paid so they get the message that there's a market for this music—and if the author is still alive they'll get their commission).
