No it's not "Daddy was an old time preacher" I've been looking for the words also. Some of the words go " You should have heard him, when he preached the blessed holy word . You have heard him, such preaching you have never heard". Hope you can find the words. I'd like to know them too.

Seems like the name of the tune was "That Old Time Preacher Man", although I am not sure. As I remember the first line it was: Well I went down to the old camp meeting twas most for to see the sight. But I got such a hearty greeting that I went back every night. They had a old time country preacher and he certainly knew God's word. You oughta heard him when he preached the blessed holy word, Well he preached about an hour bout the sermon on the mount and when he ended up he had the devil on the rout. You oughta heard him that old time preacher man.

Well I went down to the old camp meeting, just to hear the word.
There was this old time gospel preacher, such preaching you never heard.
