Another Hill and Sometimes A mountain? Pls help

the last line is how i learned it years and years ago; I first heard it sung on the Renfro Valley radio program--should be "Leaving me with a little...LESS... sorrow". after all, when we've experienced the Harvest...a little LESS sorrow always follows.
