Here are the lyrics. I noted as I was transcribing them
the news was reporting all of the stores that are open
for Christmas shopping on Thanksgiving which dates
this once wildly popular genre.

We're having this years Christmas in November,
'cause the doctor broke the news the other day.
Little Jebby won't be with us in December
and breaks my heart to hear the neighbors say
You're putting up your Christmas tree too early,
you shouldn't have to pamper Jebby so
they don't realize that this will be his last one
and I just can't find a way to let them know
they're blaming him for spoiling all his playmates
'cause the other children, they expect the same
