what does the chorus say? Do you mean "God Leads Us Along"?

I am not sure about how to sing the chorus. So, I sing it in a way that makes it to harmonize with the verses.
Eventually I will come up with something that sounds right, even if I have to rewrite it a bit. Then I will stay with it.
