Hymn Lyrics Search - Name That Hymn

My Pastor has been looking for this old hymn. I do not know the title and would prefer to not ask him so I can surprise him. All I have is this one line that I have heard him quote on several occasions... "I wish no Angel visited", and I'm pretty sure it's old enough it would be in Public Domain. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
