Was that the song that had as its chorus:

"And the people called Him Jesus,
He was a Man for all time,
Just a simple Man named Jesus,
But didn't He love, didn't He shine?"

If so, it's on one of the mid-70's albums by "Truth". I heard them in 1977 and one of their newest singers (he'd only joined the group a few days before!) sang this song. I've loved it from that day to this.

Here's a You Tube video (well, a link to it, anyway) by Dallas Holm. I didn't know he sang this song. He's singing it fairly slowly so you might be able to get the lyrics. No idea about the chords or score, though.
