I took a trip through faith's hall of fame

The address I was given led me to Hebrews 11
And there as I stepped through the door
I saw familiar names, different stories yet each the same
Its place was for the faithful, it was faith's hall of fame

The first thing that I saw was Abel's sacrifice
I turned to see Enoch but he was walking out of sight
And there was Abraham, he found a city built by God
While Sarah judged Him faithful who had promised a child

And then I came to Noah who by faith simply obeyed
Just ahead I could see Moses as he came stepping from the page
He said I'm here just to remind you all your kingdoms are subdued
If by faith you know our God will part a sea to take it through

Now faith's hall of fame forever will remain
A shrine for the faithful, God's children to remind
That it's by faith our God delivers and by faith we'll cross the river
And stand among the faithful there from faith's hall of fame
