Hymn Lyrics Search - Name That Hymn

I just lost my mother on May 8th of this year. One of her favorite songs that she would sing part of to us kids went something like this:
"It was Jesus, It was Jesus, he was but a little child, and the light of hem was shinging in his face so pure and mild."
I believe those words are part or all of the chorus.
Does anyone out there remember this song.
