Its also in the red back Church Hymnal on page 409 Its the first song I learned to play on the piano.

This was my Father's favorite song and I've always wanted to learn the words. Pray that I one day will have the nerve to sing it in my devotion service.

This song is beautiful. As a child growing up in an old country church, we sang this all the time. When I was little, I thought everyone was singing "Farther Along". So I sang it like that for a very long time.

It says key of E its D isn't it, anyway I play it in F chord or whatever it sounds like it should sound, just go by the singers voices and wishes. Some likes it in C chord most likes it in the G chord
