When peace like a river attendeth my way
When sorrows like a sea billow roll
Whatever my lot Thou has taught me to say
It is well, it is well, with my soul

It is well with my soul
It is well with my soul
It is well, it is well with my soul

Though Satan should buffet though trials should come
Let this blessed assurance control
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate
And hath shed His own blood for my soul

My sin oh the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin not in part but the whole
Is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!

And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll
The trump shall resound and the Lord shall descend
Even so, it is well with my soul

Hope this is the one, love and God Bless--Sissy

The one Sissy provided is the more famous one, but you may have been looking for this, words and music by Ruth E. Brimm.

1.
Now Job was a godly and upright man,
Perfect in all of his ways
The devil thought he could have his soul
If he could take all his possessions away
So he stripped him of all his riches
Took his children, and left him all alone
But Job said "My redeemer liveth"
And it is well with my soul"

Chorus:
It is well (it is well) with my soul (with my soul)
It is well; it is well with my soul.

The storms may come and the wind may blow (ooh aah)
But this one thing for sure I know (it is well, it is well)
(It is well) it is well, (it is well with my soul) with my soul

2.
There's been trouble with this old body
Ever since the fall of mankind
There are questions life leaves unanswered
And worries that trouble the mind
But if you belong to Jesus
On this promise you can stand:
He will never, never leave you;
Nothing can take you from the Master's hand

The devil may fight and the storms may blow
But he can't take away the peace of my soul

Hope this helps. God bless!
Steve
