Hymn Lyrics Search - Name That Hymn

my dad was playing his guitar tonight and singing this line,
:kneel down, kneel down at the foot of the cross"

i thought it was so pretty, but he ended up humming most of it and said that was all he knew. i think he said it was an old don reno & redd smiley song and he had heard it recently but didnt know much else. does anyone have these lyrics? i do know it is not the song, Kneel at the cross, although i like that one too..thanks in advance..debbie
