The Potter has something in mind

Post by Luiz » Tue Aug 27, 2019 2:01 pm

I'm a Brazilian Christian.
In this week Dr David Jerremy Rug was in our church and sang a old song... The Potter has something in mind.

Help me find this old song.

As the potter leaves the ground with the clay that he has found
You wonder what good in it he'd find
But he sees another day with the vessel on display
For the potter has something in mind

Something in mind with poor helpless clay
Something in mind the vessel will portray
What he does will be fine, forming into his design
For the potter has something in mind

The the potter sits down and the wheel goes round and round
You think he's just wasting his time
But he takes a little clay, fashions it another way
For the potter has something in mind

(Verse added by myself)
Then the potter takes the clay fashioned in his special way
The heat, it must bravely endure
Bit by bit, he turns it higher, hardened strong, brought through the fire
Still the potter has something in mind

When the potter turns around with the vessel he has crowned
Perfections the word that defines
Now the clay is beautified, and the potter's satisfied
For he surely had something in mind
