Help me find- Description of a song I played in college in the 90s

Here are the parameters I can recall more or less...
1. Has a big refrain with the flat III chord to flat VII chord and the lyrics "Praise to the Holy One" then a beautiful lydian melody with harmony over the flat VI chord.
2. There is a vocal ostinato at some interlude repeating "Lord Jesus Christ have mercy/is risen" not sure of text.
3. This was at a Catholic Student center in Springfield, Missouri.
4. It's very folk driven- like St. Louis Jesuits or Marty Haugen using the borrowed chords (which make it soar in my opinion).
Refrain (to my memory) not even sure if key is correct:)
G D D/C C E or A
Praise to the holy one----(lyrics--------)- Lord Jesus Christ have mercy (repeated)
I have been searching for this for years with my limited memory of the song. Any help would be so appreciated!
Thanks,
Luke
