Looking for the hymn name and writer to this song. First verse is "Jesus, Savior, coming down from above, bleeding, dying, Oh What Wonderful Love". Also contains "Man of Sorrow, hear him praying to the Father above." It could be Oh, What Wonderful Love, but I need the writer.
The song is named "What Wonderful Love". Authentic Unlimited, a new Bluegrass band, will be coming out with it May 26th. I heard them sing this song this weekend. Jerry Cole a member of the band said that he heard it years ago when they had music schools from one of his instructors and the teacher sung it with such conviction he said he never forgot it. It is a great song. If you get a chance you should listen to them sing it. They sing it acapella.
We asked if he knew who wrote it and he said he did not know but it is a really, really old song.
Could it be, Jesus Savior, coming down from above. By Luther G. Presley?
