Who’s the man who fed 5,000 people

Looking for the words to an old song that goes like this…

Who’s the man who fed 5,000 people and turned the water into wine. And who’s the man who calmed the raging sea. It was Jesus who died on Calvary.

Then the verses are something like..

You can have anything but my Bible, take away my silver that’s alright…? Then I’m blank.

Someone won’t you hear my reply. When I’m old please please don’t cry. Just lay my little Bible on my chest.. ?

Hi Brittdavis,

I found this amature recording:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tPoIAd1F3g
I'll work on transcribing it but don't know that I'll get all the lyrics.
If you can figure any of them out, post them and together we might fill in the blanks

Check back in a few days
Nancy

Here's a YouTube video that don't show the people, but they are singing the words more clear and plain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alodhZjbYWg Hope it helps!

I found this in a wire bound church book. Hope it helps.

Who's The Man Who Fed 5000 People?
Chorus Who's the man who fed 5000 people? Who turned the water into wine? Who's the man who calmed the raging sea? It's Jesus who died at Calvary.
1. Someone won't you please hear my reply. When I go to sleep oh please don't cry. Just Lay my little Bible on my chest. Cause I'll live on even tho I'm laid to rest.
2. You can have anything but my Bible, Take away my silver that's all right. Go on and read the Book of Revelation, that tells us when the world runs out of time.

Thanks Reta,
That's what I got, minus a few words that you filled in.
And yes that is a better recording than the two others I found.
I appreciate this and I'm sure Britt will be delighted
Thanks again,
Nancy

Chorus
Who's the man who fed 5000 people?
Who turned the water into wine?
Who's the man who calmed the raging sea?
Mister Jesus who died at Calvary.

You can have anything but my Bible,
Take away my silver that's all right.
But I want to read the word of Revelation,
speaking when the world runs out of time

Chorus

Someone won't you hear my reply.
When I go please, please don't cry.
but lay my little Bible upon my chest
and i will live on tho I'm laid to rest.

Chorus

Thank you, so they were saying Mister Jesus all the time. Sometimes I cannot understand until someone makes it plainer. So grateful.
