My Mother Prayed for Me

I looked upon the hillside where Mother had been laid,
I saw the lovely flowers they placed upon her grave,
And there alone beside her, I then began to weep,
I thought about the many times Mama prayed for me.

My mother prayed for me, and taught me right from wrong,
Of her I have sweet memories although from me she's gone,
