they did record it but it is not the same version you have above. They didn't use the verse that starts 'before momma died.."

The Looper Trio is my favorite group of all times. They did record Walk around me Jesus in the 1960s. Love that Brenda Looper! If you want to hear them once again Google : Looper Trio and click on "Music (possibly) won't hear anyplace else. I was able to down load 2 albums of music from that site and transfer it to my MP3. I am going to burn a CD just in case my player goes bonkers.
