I am trying to find the lyrics to the song " He's My Best Friend" sung by the Inspirations. Part of it goes...He's my Bread when I'm hungry....

I believe the origin of this song came from one done by the country singer Don Williams. He has a song and I have a copy of the sheet music called "You're my best Friend" and the words were slightly changed for this gospel version.

the Rex Nelon Singers were the first to record the Gospel version of the song "He's My Best Friend". Still have that record album. Still in near mint condition. Released in the 1970s, as I recall. Great, great song.
