childrens hymn - The birds are singing in the trees

One easter my aunt,A school mistress taught us a new hymn which I think she said was from America .I remember only some of the words and most of the tune.I would dearly love to become reaquainted with it, in full,if anyone can help.It goes something like this.
The birds are singing in the trees
The leaves are whispering in the breeze
Oh happy song they seem to say
Remember it is Easter Day
Oh welcome happy Eastertime
Your message??????shall bring
?????????????our saviour and our King.
Its over 50 years now since I heard it sung by anyone other than myself---your help would be most appreciated
