Can anyone tell me who wrote this or if it's in a particular hymn book, please. It's a great hymn so it would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Zion, holy mountain, holy city
Lead me on to my father
Sacred Road, I set my face like flint for you
Jerusalem, my greatest joy.

1) Cast off this bridle and bit
Cast off these bonds of my sin
Awake my soul with the Lord
This day to freely praise your king.

2) And I have counted the cost
I want to leave all this behind
I want to drink from your cup
And be baptised in your fire

I believe the author is A. Liddell (or Liddle)

Don't know any other info.

Found her - it's Ann Liddell. That's really helpful - thanks

It was indeed, Gareth, although she is now Ann Webster. She is in my diocese.
Ann's album can be found here on Prime, for anyone who has membership: https://music.amazon.in/artists/B0055F4YPW/ann-liddell
