I Found the Lily in my valley

All alone and broken hearted
Trying to calm the raging battle in my mind
In the search of many answers
That my troubled soul just couldn't seem to find
I saw a flower blooming
Where there was no rain or sunshine
And I knew not that this flower
Would change the rest of my life

(Chorus)

I found the Lily in my valley
I found strength when I was worn
I found a place to leave my burdens
I found refuge from the storm
A place where I trade my dark skys
To beaming rays of sunshine
I found a lily in my valley
And He blooms all the time

So if you're down and broken hearted
And you just can't seem to find peace of mind
You're searching for your answers
But your problems are getting worse all the time
Just reach your hands to Jesus
He'll take you in and break the ties that bind
He'll be your Lily in your valley
You can watch him bloom all the time

He'll be your Lily in your valley
He'll be strength when you are worn
He'll be the place to leave you burdens
He'll give you refuge from the storm
A place where you trade your dark skys
To beaming rays of sunshine
He'll be your Lily in your valley
And He'll bloom all the time

I found the Lily in my valley
I found strength when I was worn
I found a place to leave my burdens
He gave me refuge from the storm
A place where I trade my dark skys
To beaming rays of sunshine
I found the lily in my valley
And He blooms all the time
Yes He's the Lily of my valley
And He blooms all the time

I was able to type up some of them Just in case any one else would like them too
Blood On The Cotton
It was early in the morning when I heard my mother say We must go and reap the harvest of the fields that we have While the sun is brightly shinning we must go and do our best When the night falls upon us we can all take our rest
All day we labored in the fields that we had Leaving blood on the cotton as we put it in the bag Our father would encourage us, approving of our task Telling us reward is coming for the ones who do their best
Chorus 1
There is blood on the cotton, blessings on the bread A Bible on the table for our family to be fed Promise of the fathers that all our needs be met There is blood on the cotton, blessings on the bread

If you destroy the temple I'll build it in three days The scoffers laughed and mocked, Didn't believe a word he said While Friday brought them Victory as Jesus hung his head Sunday brought defeat of death, Hell and the grave
Chorus 2
There was blood on the linen, cloth from his head An angle by the door way declaring he's not dead For death could not hold him, come and see where he lay There was blood on the linen, cloth from his head
Tag
There is blood on the cotton, blessings on the bread

Crutches On The Altar

The Preacher told the people of the power found in prayer And that offer of salvation was for everybody there A little girl sat in the front row listening quietly When he gave the invitation she got up from her seat
Her legs were bend and crippled and she could not walk alone The only strength she could muster came from the crutches she leaned on She stumbled and I helped her so I was standing very near Tho I did not mean to listen I couldn't help but hear

I thought she'd ask for healing or some other kind of help A chance to run and play like other kids Or something special for herself Instead she ask for something l to meet someone else's need It was something for her Daddy that would last eternally
Chorus
She laid her crutches on the altar while she knelt down to pray To ask God to save her Daddy so he could go to Heaven some day I could not stop the teardrops that were falling from my eyes As the prayers of that little girl touched my heart and changed my life
The last time that I saw her wasn't like the time before For her soul had left for heaven where she would run and hurt no more The preacher talked about her, how she prayed unselfishly And when her Daddy heard the story he got up from his seat

Chorus 2
He laid his crutches on the altar where she had knelt and prayed To ask God to save her Daddy so he could go with her some day He could not stop the teardrops that were falling from his eyes As the prayers of his little girl touched his heart and changed his life Come lay you're crutches on the altar

Crying In The Night
On Plymouth Rock the pilgrims bowed And thanked God for his mercy Without his guiding love they knew they wouldn't be there But where is this country now? Who vowed that they would serve him So soon they have forgotten the one who watched with loving eyes

In our quest for a better world we have overlooked God's son Who gave his life at Calvary but he rose with Victory won He's the only sure foundation that any house is built upon And it's time we point our builders by to the chief corner stone
Chorus
For I hear crying in the night in the land of plenty I see groping in the darkness, searching for a guiding light And they're crying from our schools, give us God instead of rules Don't let the darkness blow out the light Let's just go back home to Jesus and stop this crying in the night

They're crying from our schools, give us God instead of rules Don't let the darkness blow out the light Let's just go back home to Jesus and stop this crying in the night
One nation under God Blessed Hope And salvation for all

He Painted His Love
Verse 1
Like a frame with no picture I was empty and bare A life of pain and so much same I thought that no one cared Then this artist that we call Jesus Took his precious Blood And in a life that had no meaning Jesus painted his loved
Chorus
He painted his love in a broken heart Painted strength when I was falling apart Painted Joy down in a barren Soul Painted me hope when I was at the end Put my life all back together again Jesus took his precious Blood and painted his love
Verse 2
Now he hangs another picture For the whole world to see That in his name, there's life again With so much Liberty It is finished was the cry Then he hung his head and died And with streams of precious Blood Jesus painted his Love

Chorus
He painted his love in a broken heart He painted strength when I was falling apart Painted Joy down in a barren Soul Painted me hope when I was at the end Put my life all back together again Jesus took his precious Blood and painted his love

Someone To Care
Verse 1
When the world seems cold and your friends leave you
There is someone who cares for you
When you've tears in your eyes your heart bleeds inside
There is someone who cares for you

Chorus
Someone to care someone to share
All your troubles like no other can do
He'll come down from the sky and brush the tears from your eyes
You're his child and he cares for you

Verse 2
When your disappointments come and you feel so blue
There is someone who cares for you
When you need a friend a friend to the end
There is someone who's a friend to you

Chorus
Someone to care someone to share
All your troubles like no other can do
He'll come down from the sky and brush the tears from your eyes
You're his child and he cares for you

Someone to care someone to share...

What Is My Name

She couldn't believe the awful words she heard,
In some time you'll be giving birth.
It's my choice, And I'll not be denied.
She chose to hear silence, Instead of the baby's cry.

He had no choice, But what if he did ?
You'd hear him cry, Please mama let me live.
To give you birth would mess up my life.
So the womb became a tomb, At the baby's sacrifice.

The eyes of the lord did record, This awful sin that some call a Job.
This child will speak clearly someday.
And It's you who will stand Guilty, When to Jesus he will say.

Chorus

What is my name? What is my name?
Will Mom & Dad be coming, For I love them just the same.
But when they tore me all apart, The way I felt the pain.
Is A Crying Shame!
I'm so glad you brought me here, Now Lord what is my Name?

It's A human life ans it's a crying shame.
When you don't think it's Worthy of a name.
Their so helpless, But he loves them just the same.
And has a place prepared for them, Where they will feel no pain.

Chorus

What is my name? What is my name?
Will Mom & Dad be coming, Oh! I love them just the same.
But when they tore me all apart, The way I felt the pain.
Is A Crying Shame!
I'm so glad you brought me here, Now Lord What is my Name?
What is my Name?

How Can You Fight
(When You Can't Even Stand)

As we march into battle with the mighty sword
Of the Holy Spirit and his mighty Word
We should all be soldiers familiar with the plan
Of salvation given for the fallen man

How can you fight when you can't even stand
How you going to witness when you don't know the plan
Who's going to reach out to help the fallen man
How can you fight when you can't even stand

We should stand upon His promise and come against all sin
Let the sinner know that they must be born again
Born of the spirit and his righteousness
They can be the victor in the war over flesh

Our lives should be a beacon Shining ever bright
to help the wayward Sinner who's lost in the night
With minds of compassion and heart full of love
The world will then believe that we've been covered by the blood

How can you fight when you can't even stand
How you going to witness when you don't know the plan
Who's going to reach out to help the fallen man
How can you fight when you can't even stand

On The Other Side

This world in which we're living has never been so sinful
Our hearts are often broken and so many tears we cry
But I'll not be discouraged for I stand upon his promise
The Redeemed will soon be taken over to the other side

On the other side Hearts will not be broken
Words will not be spoken that will ever make us cry
Jesus now is listening for the words go get my children
Soon the groom will take his bride over to the other side

The end time signs are gathering The Father said we would see them
Still so many are not watching for their hearts are filled with pride
But, this will not stop the Savior from keeping his great promise
To take those who are ready over to the other side

On the other side Hearts will not be broken
Words will not be spoken that will ever make us cry
Jesus now is listening for the words go get my children
Soon the groom will take his bride over to the other side

I've Droppeded My Anchor

Storms are raging souls are drifting
life's uncertain death is sure
But I'm not worried 'bout the storms raging
I've found a place where I'm secure

I've droppeded my anchor in the Master
There I find refuge for my soul
I've cast my bread upon the water
I've dropped my anchor in the Lord

I'm safely sailing with the captin
He'll guide my vessel to that shore
I'll drop my anchor in heaven's harbor
And live with Jesus forevermore

I've droppeded my anchor in the Master
There I find refuge for my soul
I've cast my bread upon the water
I've dropped my anchor in the Lord

I've droppeded my anchor in the Master
There I find refuge for my soul
I've cast my bread upon the water
I've dropped my anchor in the Lord

If I Let Go

I'm holding on to Jesus through this wilderness
For I need him to guild me on my way
In my many many battles this old body get so weary
But I have the promise of a brighter day
I'm persuaded that I've got to hold on to the keeper of my soul

If I let go then who will be my shelter
When the storms of life come pouring down
If I let go then who would fight my battle
When my enemies are standing all around
I'm persuaded that I've gotta hold on to the keeper of my soul
He's my only stance I have no chance if I let go

You'd better put on your armor and all it's fullness
And run for shelter while you still can
For very soon this world will see him coming in his glory
This is the promise of The Great I Am
I'm persuaded that I've got to hold on to the keeper of my soul

If I let go then who will be my shelter
When the storms of life come pouring down
If I let go then who would fight my battle
When my enemies are standing all around
I'm persuaded that I've gotta hold on to the keeper of my soul
He's my only stance I have no chance

Hear My Heart

Never did I think I'd be where Iam today
With my back against the wall and having no escape
But in your word You've promised that your mercy Would Impart
So I'm asking you Lord hear my heart

Hear my heart crying out for mercynsee my Spirit in need of your touch
Lead my way for on my own I don't know where to start
So I'm asking you Lord, hear my heart

I wish I could express to you my every need
But so many needs are in the heart the common eye can't see
You've been the on whose Guided me right from the start
Now I need you touch please Jesus, hear my heart

Hear my heart crying out for mercynsee my Spirit in need of your touch
Lead my way for on my own I don't know where to start
So I'm asking you Lord, hear my heart

Hear my heart crying out for mercynsee my Spirit in need of your touch
Lead my way for on my own I don't know where to start
So I'm asking you Lord, hear my heart

I Don't Want To Be The One

Born on a countryside down in Carolina
A Christian mom and dad raised me right
But somewhere along life road I lost my direction
I turned from the into the night
Mama prayed so hard for as she was slowly dying
Jesus save my boy before I go
Then one hot summer night Mama's prayer were answer
Jesus changed my life and saved my soul

I don't want to be the one to break the family circle
I don't want to be the one missing around the throne
When the roll is called in Gloryland by our Lord and Savior
I don't want to be the one who didn't make it home

Mom and Dad have gone on home and left me here to carry
The banner of our Savior Jesus Christ
And I firmly promised Mom and Dad that I'd meet then in Glory
And, Friend, I'm not about to change my mind
Through valleys low and mountains high
I'll keep on marching forward into battle for my Lord
'cause soon I'll lay my armor down for the battle will br over
Then I'll go home and get my reward

I don't want to be the one to break the family circle
I don't want to be the one missing around the throne
When the roll is called in Gloryland by our Lord and Savior
I don't want to be the one who didn't make it home

I don't want to be the one to break the family circle
I don't want to be the one missing around the throne
When the roll is called in Gloryland by our Lord and Savior
I don't want to be the one who didn't make it home

Living Loving Proof

When the storms of life have gathered
And Satan's comes to conquer your soul
When you've tried to find a shelter
But really there's no place to go
Before the billows take you under
May I suggest your only Source
He's the God of all the ages
And o'er your storms he has control

There's living proof right in front of you
The living loving truth of what my God can really do
His hands are reaching out to you
In his touch you'll find the living loving Proof

Rejected by a sinful world He still gave his life
When Pilate sought to let him go the crowd crucify
But an empty grave is there today for all the world to see
He conquered death to give us life eternity

There's living proof right in front of you
The living loving truth of what my God can really do
His hands are reaching out to you
In his touch you'll find the living loving Proof
