Hymn Lyrics Search - Name That Hymn

I have the words to the first two verses of the song Son of Maria which a Welsh choir "Cantorian" recorded with the Cory brass band.
The third verse words cannot be verified from the CD. Can anyone help?
The second line of the third verse is:
"What shall we do if the figs are still green?"
The third line ends with the phrase:
".... when our sins are forgiven"

Am still hoping someone - perhaps you - will kindly steer me in the right direction for words of third verse of 'Son of Maria' Have found out it is a German Christmas carol.

Anyone out there know this German carol 'Son of Maria'? I need the words of verse three. Thanks for lokking at my call for assistance.
