I'm looking for a song I sang years ago when I was a child. In the chorus is "I found happiness, I 've got joy divine, I found real contientment,.......... and the ending say, "I found happiness all the time, wonderful peace is mine, since I found the Lord"
If someone has this song or can help me find the lyrics to it and who wrote it, I would appreciate it, you may send it to my e-mail at [email protected] thank you for your help, Diann Foister

The song is written by Bill Gaither. I have it on LP, so I will transcribe the words the best I can, I might have some words incorrect.

Chorus
I found happiness, I found peace of mind
I found a joy of living, perfect love sublime
I found free contentment
Happy living in accord
I found happiness all the time
Wonderful peace of mind
When I found the Lord.

No more lonely days of pain and misery
For the dawn of happiness I found the key
I have found a life of love and harmony
Wondrous happiness all the time
Harmony so divine
Since I found the Lord.

Chorus

I'm so happy with this brand new melody
I have found that life can be a symphony
Looking forward to that happy jubilee
Glorious symphony all the time,
Melody so sublime, harmony so divine.
Happiness all the time
Wonderful peace of mine
Love that is really mine
Since I found the Lord.

The first verse is:
I found real contentment, happy living in accord.

For the door of happiness, I found the key

does anyone knows the title of this song with lyrics below?

I have got good reason to be happy and gay
the Lord took all my cares away
I can't help feelin' what a wonderful day
Since I found the Lord

I've got no reason to be gloomy and sad
I've found such joy as I never had
The bells are ringing and they're making me glad
Since I've found the Lord

Thank you for the complete lyrics. I am 59 years old and can’t remember what I ate for breakfast today but I can remember all the things that happened in my childhood days.

FOR EXAMPLE: I woke up this morning at 4:30 to this song running through my mind. I haven’t heard this song since I was 10 years old. I was living in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I had two sisters, and we used to sing together as a trio in church. My mother was the pianist. We sang this song at church as a special musical number.

I remember what I wore. I remember being scolded by my mother during practice because I kept mixed up with the lyrics. I was a shy girl and always scared of everything.

But this morning I got them 100% right. I sang it for my husband. It was such a joyful moment for me to be able to share it with him. He grew up catholic and from another country where they did not have this kind of church experience.

Thank you again.

P.S. When I got up from breakfast after having sung for him, I decided to look up the songjust to make sure I was accurate in the lyrics, which confirmed that I was. The most amazing thing happened, though. It was the very first result that showed up when I typed, “I found happiness”!
