TODAY I WALKED UP OLD GOLGOTHA'S HILL
RETRACING THE STEPS MY SAVIOUR TROD
I THOUGHT ABOUT THE PAIN THAT HE BORE
AND I'LL NEVER BE THE SAME ANYMORE

I'LL NEVER BE THE SAME, ANYMORE
MY LIFE'S BEEN CHANGED, I'LL WALK IN SIN NO MORE
I KNOW I'VE NEVER FELT LIKE THIS BEFORE
AND, I'LL NEVER BE THE SAME ANYMORE

AND NOW I CAN SING A SONG OF PRAISE
OF JESUS, WHO FOR OUR SINS WAS SLAIN
I CRIED JUST TO THINK HE TOOK MY PLACE
AND I'LL NEVER BE THE SAME ANYMORE

I'll never be the same any more

Charles Felter came to my dad's funeral and sang this song for us. My father, Robert E. Belcher had been a pastor in Dayton, Ohio for several years and died in 1981. It was an honor to have him there!

It was an honor to be a close and personal friend of the late Charles Feltner, spent any a wonderful time in both church with him, traveling on the road and enjoying the company of his lovely wife Betty and his family.
My husband played keyboard and sang many times with him for over 20 yrs.
He was truly a man of God. He was not just a friend but like a 2nd dad to us and our grandfather to our kids...

Has this song ever been published or available in a songbook? Found it on a Jimmy Swaggart video on Utube. Thanks, Gary
