Thought I would try again. The chorus goes " while the ages roll, I'll put my trust in him, and my ? will never tire or grow old, and my song will ever be, praise the lamb who died for me, and I'll sing it while ages shall roll". I heard it the other day on gospel radio, and caught the chorus. The lyrics
index web site has the music listed but not the lyrics.

Thanks

"While The Ages Roll" was recorded by the Florida Boys Quartet some years ago. The chorus goes: "And while the ages roll, I'll keep on praising Him, and
my voice will never tire or grow old, and my song will ever be Praise The Lamb who died for me, and I'll sing it while the ages shall roll."
The first verse goes something like this: "Some day
my stammering tongue will falter no more, and a grand
and glorious song I shall sing; for I'll join the ransomed choir on Heaven's bright shore forever
to praise the King." Then the chorus. Heard this at a funeral today. Can't remember the second verse, but I believe it starts something like this: "Now when I've lived a million years in that place...."

Bob, thanks for your efforts, now I know where to look. Also I learned the song was written by Mosie Lister.

Thanks Bob and cje. As you say, the song was written by Mosie Lister, who wrote such other great songs as "Till the Storm Passes By" and "Goodby, World, Goodby". They don't write 'em like they used to ;)

There's a neat souvenir songbook of Mosie Lister's songs that might has the music and lyrics. Here's a link:

Thanks,

"WHILE AGES ROLL"
BY MOSIE LISTER

1. SOMEDAY THIS STAMM'RING TONGUE WILL FALTER NO MORE,
AND A GRANDER, SWEETER SONG I SHALL SING;
FOR I'LL JOIN THE RANSOMED CHOIR ON HEAVEN'S BRIGHT
SHORE, FOREVER TO PRAISE THE KING

CHORUS:

AND WHILE THE AGES ROLL, I'LL KEEP ON PRAISING HIM,
AND MY VOICE WILL NEVER TIRE OR GROW OLD
AND MY SONG SHALL EVER BE, PRAISE THE LAMB WHO DIED FOR
ME!! AND i'LL SING IT WHILE AGES SHALL ROLL.

2. WHEN A MILLION YEARS HAVE PASSED IN THAT WONDERFUL
PLACE, MY SONG OF PRAISE WILL HAVE JUST BEGUN;
FOR MY JOY WILL NEVER END WHILE I LOOK ON HIS
FACE, AND MY SONG WILL NEVER BE DONE.

REPEAT CHORUS:
