Hymn Lyrics Search - Name That Hymn

This is the title or perhaps just a line from a piece often played as a New Orleans jazz/spiritual by Bunk Johnson-we have a recording but without words. We would love to have the lyrics if anyone knows them so that our band can add it to the repertoire;can you help? regards,Val S.
