KEEP MY SPIRIT RIGHT
McGruders

V.1
In the face of disappointments, Lord keep my spirit clean,
I don't want to be discouraged, or my disposition mean;
Lord I want to be your vessel, I want to be a shining light,
Filled with oil completely, aflame and shining bright.

Cho:
Keep my spirit right, Oh Lord I Pray,
Keep my spirit right, I don't want to go astray;
In the midst of the day, or the heat of the night,
Help me win this fight, Lord keep my spirit right.

V.2
Though a host may rise against me,
Lord if you're by my side,
You can keep my foot from falling,
You can help me win the fight;
I don't want to be a loser, I want to win this war of life,
I want to keep the faith, win this course, and keep my spirit right.
