All I know is part of the chorus:
Palms of victory
Crowns of glory
Palms of victory I will wear

The title of the song is "Palms of Victory" I know one of the artist that sings it is John Starnes. I have the music but not with me right now. I'll try to remember to pick it up when I go to church this evening and post it tomorrow if someone hasn't already done so.
God Bless

Here are the words to the song.
Palms of Victory
I saw a way-worn traveler
In tattered garments clad,
And struggling up the mountain,
It seemed that he was sad;
His back was laden heavy,
His strength was almost gone,
Yet he shouted as he journeyed,
Deliverance will come.
CHORUS:
Then Palms of Victory, crowns of Glory
Palms of Vic-to-ry, I shall wear
The summer sun was shining,
The sweat was on his brow,
His garments worn and dusty,
His steps seemed very slow:
But he kept on pressing onward,
For he was wending home;
Still shouting as he journeyed,
Deliverance will come.
The tempter in the arbor,
That stood beside the way,
Attracted his attention,
Inviting his delay:
His watchword being "Onward!"
He stopped his ears and ran,
Still shouting as he journeyed,
Deliverance will come.
I saw him in the evening,
The sun was bending low,
He'd overtopped the mountain,
And reached the vale below:
He saw the golden city,
His everlasting home,
And shouted loud, Hosanna,
Deliverance will come!
While gazing on that city,
Just o'er the narrow flood,
A band of holy angels
Came from the throne of God:
They bore him to the Savior,
Safe o'er the dashing foam;
And joined him in his triumph,
Deliverance has come!
I heard the song of triumph
They sang upon that shore,
Saying, Jesus has redeemed us
To suffer nevermore:
Then, casting his eyes backward
On the race which he had run,
He shouted loud, Hosanna,
Deliverance has come!
John B. Matthias, 1836.

according to a really old 1800's hymnal i have it actually says "the songsters in the arbor that stood beside the way" not "tempter" : here is word for word from the hymnal: 1. I saw a wayworn traveler in tattered garments clad,
And struggling up the mountain it seemed that he was sad,
His back was laden heavy; his strength was almost gone,
Yet he shouted as he journeyed; "Deliverance will come."
CHORUS
Then palms of victory, crowns of glory,
Palms of victory I shall wear.
2. The summer sun was shining; the sweat was on his brow,
His garments worn and dusty, his step seemed very slow;
But he kept pressing onward, for he was wending home;
Still shouting as he journeyed; "Deliverance will come."
3. The songsters in the arbor that stood beside the way;
Attracted his attention, inviting his delay;
His watch-word being "Onward", he stopped his ears and ran,
Still shouting as he journeyed; "Deliverance will come."
4. I saw him in the evening; the sun was bending low,
He'd overtopped the mountain and reached the vale below,
He saw the golden city; his everlasting home,
And shouted loud; "Hosanna, Deliverance will come."
5. While gazing on that city, just o'er that narrow flood;
A band of holy angels came from the throne of God;
They bore him on their pinions safe o'er the dashing foam,
And joined him in his triumph; "Deliverance has come!"
6. I heard the song of triumph they sang upon that shore;
Saying Jesus has redeemed us, to suffer never more.
Then casting his eyes backward on the race which he had run;
He shouted loud; "Hosanna, Deliverance has come!"

I also know another verse that goes like this:
Verse:It seems I hear the angels around the throne so grand. Their shouting loud hosannas we've reached the promised land. When we have joined that city, our race on earth we've run. We'll all shout loud hosannas. Deliverance has come!
God bless!
