Is this what you're looking for?

I Bowed on My Knees and Cried, "Holy"
Words and music by Jimmie Davis

I dreamed of a city called Glory,
So bright and so fair.
When I entered that gate I cried, "Holy"
The angels all met me there:
They carried me from mansion to mansion,
And oh what sights I saw.
But I said, "I want to see Jesus,
He's the One who died for all."

Chorus
Then I bowed on my knees and cried,
"Holy, Holy, Holy."
Then I clapped my hands and sang, "Glory,
Glory to the Son of God."
Then I bowed on my knees and cried,
"Holy, Holy, Holy."
Then I clapped my hands and sang, "Glory,
Glory to the Son of God."

I thought as I entered that city,
My friends all knew me well.
They showed me the streets of Heaven;
Such scenes too numerous to tell;
I saw Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
Mark, Luke and Timothy.
But I said, "I want to see Jesus,
He's the One who died for me."

Repeat Chorus

I fell on my knees and cried Holy

I believe the song is attributed to Nuttie Dudley, although Jimmie Davis certainly became associated with it during his amazing singing career.

Could be right, there is an interesting note on Wikipedia about this. He claimed to write "you are my sunshine" but research indicates that he bought the song from the real composer/author. Apparently this was common practice in those days.

Help Please!!! This song "I Bowed my Knees and Cried Holy" has 3 verses, but I can only find lyrics for the first 2 verses! This site has the sheet music with the first page of the 3rd verse but you have to buy the whole thing for 5 bucks in order to see the rest of the lyrics. http://www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mt ... =MN0062744

I learned this song on the guitar, because it was one of my father's favorite songs and now at every funeral, I am asked to play and sing it. My mothers father just died this past Tuesday and I have been asked to sing this song. I would like to sing it with all three verses, but have had the hardest time finding the final verse. Please help!
