Shepherd's Song by Reba Rambo can be found on Spotify. I have always loved this song and used to sing at bedtime for my girlies. They now sing it to their own littles. <3
SHEPHERD’S SONG
Hey little Lamb, did you mean to stray?
Or did you slowly wander ‘til you lost your way.
You're afraid that I won't come to your rescue.
But to me you're very special,
The flock is not complete without you.
I will leave the ninety and nine.
I will climb upon the highest cleft of the mountain.
I know where you are; I hear you calling my name.
Nothing can stop me now 'til you’re back in the fold once again.
I will pick you up, kiss away your tears.
Hold you close, carry you back to the valley fields.
And the other lambs will sing a welcome song.
With my own hands I'll feed you,
And once again you will be made strong.
I will leave the ninety and nine.
I will climb upon the highest cleft of the mountain.
I know where you are; I hear you calling my name.
Nothing can stop me now 'til you’re back in the fold once again.
‘til you're back in the fold; until I can hold you.
‘til yore back in the fold once again.
